Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to ensure even cooking and better browning.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the salmon.
