Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps achieve crispier skin.
In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Ensure all wings are evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes.
Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Cook for 10 minutes.
Flip the wings and increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C). Cook for another 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
